Camping and Caravans

When camping on Dartmoor, Langstone Manor holiday park offers something for everyone.

We have 42 pitches, 30 with hookup divided into separate areas. New since 2008 is the sunny Daffodil field with terraced pitches offering wonderful views across the moors. The walled garden is sheltered with views. For seclusion, there are pitches set amongst the trees.

Groups are welcome (depending on size and time of year). There are areas ideal for groups, and as we are on the moor it is an ideal base for Ten Tors training or the Duke of Edinburgh scheme.

We now have our own Langstone Pod City located in a lovely wooded area of the park! We have one suitable for a couple or a family with 2 small children and then we have larger pods with room for up to 4 adults or a family of 4. One of these larger pods is pet friendly (maximum of 2, additional fee payable).

Just bring all your camping gear less the tent and enjoy the comfort of the wooden pod with insulation, a heater and light. There is a covered area and front verandah for eating & enjoying the Dartmoor air! Ideal for short breaks without having to worry about packing away a wet tent, the pods have a lovely living space and offer the latest in soft camping. We pride ourselves on our immaculately kept facilities at Langstone Manor as we know how important these are to our guests. They include free hot showers, toilets, hair-dryers, nappy changers, an accessible family bathroom, under-floor heating, laundry, dishwashing area and a portable toilet liquid disposal site. There is also a grey-water waste for motor-homes and water points around the park.

Our reception supplies basic needs including gas and bio-degradable portable toilet liquid. We also have freshly baked baguettes, rolls, croissants available to order!

The Manor house which has a non-smoking policy throughout, has a lounge bar, dining room and games room available for your use. Tavistock is only a short drive away with a wide selection of shops.

For our young visitors we have a brand new playground surrounded by grass and picnic benches. Please note that bikes cannot be ridden on the park, there are plenty of quiet lanes and cycleways nearby.

Dogs are welcome at no extra cost (except in the pet friendly camping pod), BUT they must be kept on a lead at ALL times whilst on the park.
